Kolibri Corporation — Temu & eBay Marketplace Listings
This policy explains how Kolibri Corporation grades, warranties, and accepts returns on refurbished and used cash handling equipment sold through Temu and eBay marketplace listings. This policy is for Red & Green Products Only.
It applies to two categories of products, which carry different terms:
This policy does not apply to new products, which follow Kolibri’s standard new product warranty and return policies.

Refurbished: 30 days (Section 5)
Used: 30 days (Section 5)
A discontinued unit is never listed as Refurbished. It is listed as Used and carries the more limited terms shown above.
Every refurbished unit is graded based on (a) how many bills it has run through it, and (b) its cosmetic and functional condition. All grades, regardless of tier, require the unit to be 100% functional and fully tested before resale.
Mixed Value Counters use the most detailed grading scale, because mixed-value counting, sorting, and authentication is more complex than the single-function equipment in Section 3.2, so a wider condition spread needs more precise grading.
A1 — Like New (10,000 – 100,000 bills)
100% functional. Excellent overall condition with little to no cosmetic wear. External display required. Original box/packaging preferred and in excellent condition. All standard accessories must be included. No significant scratches, dents, discoloration, or signs of previous use.
A2 — Excellent (10,000 – 100,000 bills)
100% functional. Very minor scratches/scuffs visible only upon close inspection. External display required. Original box/packaging should be in good condition. All standard accessories must be included and may show minimal signs of use.
A3 — Very Good (10,000 – 100,000 bills)
100% functional. Minor scratches, scuffs, or cosmetic wear clearly visible but the number of scratches is limited. External display required. Box/packaging may show normal handling wear. All standard accessories must be included and may show light signs of use.
B1 — Good (100,000 – 500,000 bills)
100% functional. Moderate cosmetic wear with visible scratches/scuffs. External display required and may show signs of wear. Original or replacement packaging acceptable. Must include at minimum power cord, new calibration card, and bill guides. Accessories may show normal wear.
B2 — Fair-Good (100,000 – 500,000 bills)
100% functional. Noticeable scratches, scuffs, and/or small dents. External display required and may be worn. Packaging may be worn or replaced. Must include at minimum power cord, new calibration card, and bill guides. Accessories may show noticeable wear.
B3 — Fair (100,000 – 500,000 bills)
100% functional. Significant cosmetic wear, including multiple scratches, scuffs, dents, or discoloration. External display required and may be heavily worn. Packaging may be heavily worn or replaced. Must include at minimum power cord, new calibration card, and bill guides. Accessories may show significant wear.
C1 — Heavy Wear (500,000+ bills)
100% functional after refurbishment. Significant scratches, dents, discoloration, and/or extensive surface wear. External display is optional. Packaging may be heavily worn or replaced. Must include at minimum power cord, new calibration card, and bill guides. Accessories may be heavily worn or used.
C2 — Very Heavy Wear (500,000+ bills)
100% functional after refurbishment. Substantial cosmetic damage and obvious signs of previous use. External display is optional. Replacement/refurbished packaging acceptable. Must include at minimum power cord, new calibration card, and bill guides. Accessories may be heavily worn and show extensive use.
C3 — Poor Cosmetic (500,000+ bills)
100% functional after refurbishment. Extensive cosmetic wear/damage and very obvious signs of previous use. External display is optional. Original packaging is not required; replacement/refurbished packaging acceptable. Must include at minimum power cord, new calibration card, and bill guides, which may themselves be worn/heavily used.
These three categories use a simpler A/B/C grading scale.
Bill Counters
A — Excellent (10,000 – 100,000 bills)
100% functional and fully tested. Little to no cosmetic wear. No significant scratches, dents, cracks, or discoloration visible upon close inspection. Original box preferred. All standard accessories must be included. Power cord and bill guides required. External display required if originally included with the model. Accessories and packaging should be in excellent condition.
B — Good (100,000 – 500,000 bills)
100% functional and fully tested. Noticeable cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, minor dents, or discoloration is acceptable. Original or replacement box acceptable. Must include at minimum power cord and bill guides. External display required if originally included with the model. Accessories and packaging may show normal signs of use.
C — Fair (500,000+ bills)
100% functional after refurbishment and fully tested. Significant cosmetic wear, including heavy scratches, scuffs, dents, discoloration, or obvious signs of previous use. Original box not required; replacement/refurbished packaging acceptable. Must include at minimum power cord and bill guides. External display is optional. Accessories may be worn or heavily used.
Counterfeit Detectors
A — Excellent (10,000 – 100,000 bills)
100% functional and fully tested. Little to no cosmetic wear. No significant scratches, dents, cracks, or discoloration visible upon close inspection. Original box preferred. All standard accessories must be included, including the correct power adapter/cord and any accessories originally supplied with the model. Display/screen, if applicable, should be in excellent condition with minimal or no scratches.
B — Good (100,000 – 500,000 bills)
100% functional and fully tested. Noticeable cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, minor dents, or discoloration is acceptable. Original or replacement box acceptable. Must include at minimum the correct power adapter/cord and all components necessary for normal operation. Display/screen, if applicable, may show normal signs of use. Accessories may be worn.
C — Fair (500,000+ bills)
100% functional after refurbishment and fully tested. Significant cosmetic wear, including heavy scratches, scuffs, dents, discoloration, or obvious signs of previous use. Original box not required; replacement/refurbished packaging acceptable. Must include at minimum the correct power adapter/cord and components necessary for normal operation. Display/screen, if applicable, may be heavily worn but must be fully functional. Accessories may be worn or heavily used.
Coin Sorters
A — Like New (10,000 – 100,000 bills)
100% functional and fully tested. No scratches, dents, cracks, chips, or significant cosmetic blemishes on the main housing/exterior of the unit. Very light/mild scratches on the hopper are acceptable from normal handling. Buttons, display, labels, and controls should be in excellent condition. Original box preferred. All standard accessories should be included, including the power cord and model-specific coin bins/tubes or other standard accessories.
B — Good (100,000 – 500,000 bills)
100% functional and fully tested. Light to moderate cosmetic wear is acceptable on both the housing and hopper, including visible scratches, scuffs, minor surface marks, and small dents. No cracks, broken housing, or damage affecting operation. Original or replacement packaging acceptable. Power cord and all components necessary for normal operation must be included. Accessories may show normal signs of use and wear.
C — Fair (500,000+ bills)
100% functional after refurbishment and fully tested. Moderate to heavy cosmetic wear is acceptable on the housing and hopper, including deeper scratches, scuffs, dents, discoloration, worn surfaces, and obvious signs of previous use. Cosmetic damage must not affect structural integrity or operation. Original box not required; replacement/refurbished packaging acceptable. Power cord and minimum components required for normal operation must be included. Accessories may be heavily worn or used.

Refurbished units carry a 60-day limited warranty from the date of delivery.

Used units are sold as-is, with no warranty and no repair coverage.
Refurbished units may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Defective on arrival or not as described
Full refund or replacement; Kolibri covers return shipping.
Change of mind, within 30 days, original condition
Accepted; customer pays return shipping; a restocking fee of 15% may apply.
Outside the 30-day window
Not eligible for return; may still qualify for a warranty repair under Section 4.1 (Refurbished only).
Used units may also be returned within 30 days of delivery, under the same conditions described in Section 5.2. Used units do not carry a warranty (Section 4.2).
Returns received without a valid RMA number will be refused and returned to sender. Inspection and processing typically take 7 to 10 business days.
Refurbished and Used units are sold through Temu and eBay marketplace listings. These platforms offer Kolibri Certified Refurbished Products.
Temu and eBay listings may display a general condition label, such as “Like New,” “Very Good,” or “Good.” These labels correspond to the product grades described in Section 3 of this policy.
